GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN, March 11, 2026 — Imperial Clinical Research Services has earned a Bronze rating from EcoVadis, a global provider of business sustainability ratings. This evaluation places Imperial among the top 35 percent of companies assessed worldwide.
EcoVadis evaluates companies across 21 sustainability criteria organized into four areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, areas increasingly relevant to companies supporting the clinical research industry. Imperial was recognized for strengths in environmental governance, including formal policies, measurable objectives, and structured review mechanisms. Additionally, the assessment highlighted Imperial’s operational measures to reduce energy use and waste. The bronze rating thus reflects performance that aligns with top-tier sustainability practices worldwide.
In the Labor and Human Rights category, Imperial was noted for comprehensive policies covering working conditions, health and safety, nondiscrimination, and career development. EcoVadis cited several employee‑focused practices, including flexible work options, family‑friendly programs, skills‑development training, and structured mechanisms for performance assessment and grievance reporting.
Imperial’s ethics practices were similarly recognized, including policies on corruption, conflicts of interest, and information security, as well as employee training on anti‑corruption and measures to protect third‑party data.
“This rating reflects the practical work happening across the organization to operate responsibly, including reducing resource use, supporting employees, and maintaining the ethical standards our customers expect,” said Dan McDonald, Imperial vice president of business development. “Sustainability is an ongoing effort, and this assessment gives us a clear benchmark as we continue strengthening our practices across the organization.”
