The paper we use is sourced from suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The FSC ensures that trees are harvested responsibly for zero deforestation, so there is no net loss of forests over time.
As a manufacturer, our facilities are large power consumers. We actively reduce our energy use through ongoing programs, including:
Imperial recycles the paper, aluminum, and plastic we use. Through one of our equipment providers, Xerox, we recycle 500+ pounds of toner cartridges, from our large commercial printing presses, down to our desktop printers, every six weeks. (Learn more about this program.)
At Imperial, we believe it is important to give back to the communities that support us. Quarterly, we engage our team members with the community through structured charities and social groups. This includes serving meals at charitable meal centers, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, and making sack lunches for children in need. We support numerous causes and as part of our DNA, will continue to do so.
These activities produce positive effects today and will also impact the future. Our commitments make us more than a better corporate citizen—they make us a better company.
