Imperial Appoints Three to Leadership Team
GRAND RAPIDS (May 10, 2016) – Imperial, a clinical research support organization, announces three appointments that will enhance its business development, growth, and operations.
Joe Buser, director, business development. Buser will identify business opportunities and cultivate growth with new and existing clients. Buser was previously sales director for Quality Health, where his main focus was patient recruitment for clinical trials. He was also with GSK for 23 years, most recently as senior sales director. Buser has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rider University, Lawrence Township, New Jersey.
Dusten Rake, category manager for ancillary supplies. Rake will oversee Imperial’s
quickly-expanding ancillary supplies division. Rake has more than 10 years of experience
relating to ancillary supplies and was most recently director of clinical engineering at Sodexo Clinical Technology Management. He has a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Baker College, Muskegon, Michigan.
Mitchell Winfree, vice president, global business development. Winfree will spearhead Imperial’s growth in international markets. He was previously director of global sales for Thermo Fisher Scientific and vice president, business development for Norwich Clinical Services. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina.
“Joe, Dusten, and Mitchell bring experience and expertise that will enhance our key business areas,” said Steve Swanson, president of Imperial. “Our hiring for 2016 and 2017 is based on aggressive growth strategies, particularly in patient engagement, translation services, medical supplies, and ancillary supplies,” he said.
